Family Community Church introduces Studio FCC!
SAN JOSE, California (September 3, 2013) – Studio FCC is a television stage developed by Family Community Church in order to advance the media efforts of the church and to create a resource for the professional TV/film production community at large.
“Family Community Church is really excited to partner with the professional business community with this new stage,” said John Stalker, Stage Manager and Media and IT Pastor at Family Community Church. “The fact that this infinity cyclorama is pre-lit with dimmable, KinoFlo Parazip 400s means that crews can walk right in and get started without requiring time to light the cyc.”
Studio FCC has been designed with professionalism and versatility in mind. It features a spacious 65’x22′ infinity cyclorama, composed of roughly 60% white and 40% green portions, with 33′ deep photographic surfaces. The room extends an additional 35′ deep beyond the stage floor to allow for plenty of camera, client, and video assist options.
The stage features a full lighting grid at 13′ high, to allow for quick lighting adjustments, in many cases requiring only a 10′ ladder. Studio FCC has installed a dedicated 400-amp, 3-phase transformer to supply power to both the grid and floor distribution. Two, 20-amp circuits are accessible at every intersection of the lighting grid. Floor distribution is possible via an available electric cart which can break down the house power into 100-,60-, and 20-amp circuits.
Studio FCC offers spacious lobbies, large restrooms, a client/talent green room, a 4-station makeup/wardrobe room with air conditioning, guest Wi-Fi, and more. Other amenities include: edit suites, a prop shop, craft services, a VO recording booth, and a state-of-the-art music recording stage and mixing studio.
